Capturing Film We capture both 8mm and 16mm films. Our process slows the film down to 1/3 the regular speed. We have special equipment that allows us to capture the film at the highest possible quality. Our process captures the film's vibrant colors without white flair ups that older processes cannot do. We do have to point out that we can't improve the film's quality if the film has begun to deteriorate. Although film keeps its quality much longer than other medias, it still suffers from how its stored. Films stored in damp and extreme temperatures suffer the most. Don't be worried if your film is not in the best shape, we have not found a film we cannot transfer yet. Trust us with your films and we won't let you down. Making the DVD Once the capture process is complete, we begin to create the DVD. We import the captured film into our video editing software. We include a quick purusal of the films to take out large blemishes such as areas of white either caused by the white leader or over exposed film. We can't guarantee removing all blemishes. For more thorough editing, see our Editing Services. Once the video editor process is complete, the exported file is imported into our DVD software. We select a custom DVD menu template. The film is divided into four chapters aproximately 30 minutes apart. We further customize the menu by placing portions of the film into the menu. The DVD is burned and a custom label is created for the DVD to complete the process. Music Unless otherwise specified by the customer, every DVD we create for films or photographs has background music. We have specific music we can use on DVDs for free. We have hours of royalty free music. We've paid for the right to put this music on any DVD we create. Customers have the option to provide music of their choice for background music. Customer provided music must be on original CDs. We will capture the music and place it in the video. We can also purchase music through iTunes and put it into the video. Costs:
